New prices for tolls for Attiki Odos
The management of the Attica Odos highway has announced the introduction of new toll prices for all vehicles operating on it. The change in prices will take place in two stages and the first increase in prices will be from 07/01/2019 and a subsequent increase in tolls will be at the beginning of the new 2020 or in other words on 01.01.2020. In the table below you can find the current prices at which the vehicles are charged and the prices for the respective periods.

It is noted that the new nominal value of the toll, effective from 1 July 2019, is approximately 20% lower than the limit specified in the concession contract, as the upper conventional toll is currently 3.77 euros with discounts .
The management reminds that despite the increase in inflation and despite the significant reduction in the number of gaps, the contractor, after noticing the financial difficulties in the country, maintains the price of the fee for the last thirteen (13) years. It should be noted that the toll has reached EUR 2.70 since February 2006, with Attiki Odos SA having a very small increase from EUR 0.10 to EUR 2.80 in July 2010 within the scope of successive increases in VAT, determining the net price of the fee in EUR 2.80 with 24% VAT at a lower price level of € 2.70 with 19% VAT.
