Toll taxes in Czech Republic – MYTO
The tolling system in the Czech Republic is operated by Myto CZ. It is based on the distance traveled and is payable for all heavy-duty vehicles over 3.5 tons and buses. When calculating the due road tax, the number of axles, mileage, vehicle emission class, type of road network used, and day of usage are taken into account. Inform yourself about the toll tariffs .

How to pay?
• Myto device / On-Board unit
The toll is paid via an On-Board unit called Premid. The device can be taken from different stations in Czech Republic. To pay with the device and charge it, you can choose between Pre-Pay and Post-Pay mode.
a) Pre-Pay mode
You must take the device from Myto CZ distribution points in Czech Republic and load it in advance before it is used. When taking an on-board unit from a distribution point, you will have to pay a deposit of 1550 CZK. The device can be charged by bank card, fuel card or cash.
b) Post-Pay mode
You should contact your fuel supplier to request an on-board unit that will automatically take the toll tax amount from your fuel card. When taking an on-board device, you need to pay a deposit of 1550 CZK. The registered Post-Pay device is taken from a contact points in Czech Republic.
Important: Please note that the operator charges a fine if the on-board unit either in Pre-Pay or Post-Pay mode is not used within 1 year.
