Prohibitions on 45-hour rest

In a number of countries in Europe, there is already a ban on spending 45 hours in the cab of a truck. In the event of an inspection, drivers must prove a 45-hour break outside the cab for a period of 28 days back. If the driver is unable to present a hotel note or other document proving that the 45-hour break was taken outside the cab 28 days ago, he is subject to a fine.
